Burglary chain plagues Hudson Valley town
The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating three residential burglaries and two stolen vehicles in the town of LaGrange over the past few days, particularly in the Cramer Road area.
Cramer Road runs between Overlook Road and Rt. 55 in the town of LaGrange.
As the investigation is ongoing at this time, no further information can be shared at this time. More details could be released as they become available, but local residents are urged to remain vigilant.
In a statement from the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, they remind residents to lock their doors, make sure all exterior lights are working properly, don’t leave ladders outside, and make sure their property’s security cameras are functioning properly.
As always, if you observe a potential perpetrator or a suspicious person, DO NOT AFRAB YOURSELF; pay attention to get the best possible description of the person and immediately contact 911 for law enforcement to deal with the matter.
