The salary is £ 33,797 per year on a pro rata basis. A London allowance of £ 2,134 will be payable in addition to salary.

Candidates are invited to the post of researcher in the economics department to join an ESRC-funded project in spatial econometrics in its final phase. The incumbent will work alongside Dr Jungyoon Lee (PI) and Dr Francesca Rossi (Co-I, University of Verona) to co-author a number of research papers under the grant, focusing on ’emphasis on the empirical application of methodologies. developed as part of the project.

Successful applicants should ideally hold or be in the process of completing a doctorate in economics, statistics or related fields, although outstanding applicants with a master’s degree may also be considered. Demonstrable knowledge of research methodologies in applied economics or empirical research is essential.
